Most of our homes are listed on the big booking platforms too, so you may have met them there first. The difference is what sits between you and the house. On a platform, that is a service fee added at checkout and a support queue that has never seen the property. Here, it is nothing: the rate you see is the rate, with no platform booking fee stacked on top, and the person answering questions has stood in the backyard you are looking at.
That matters most before you commit. Bedroom math for two families, whether the pool heat is worth it in November, which house takes six cars — these are questions a marketplace cannot answer and we can, on the phone, before you pay anyone anything. And once you have booked, requests go straight to the people who run the homes, not through a ticket system.

Is booking direct actually cheaper?
For the same home and dates, yes — platforms add a guest service fee on top of the nightly rate, and booking direct does not. Compare the checkout totals, not the nightly rates, and the difference is plain.
Is it safe to book off-platform?
You are booking with the people who own and run the homes, on our own reservation site, with a card checkout and a written confirmation. Call the number in the footer before you book — a real person answering is the assurance a platform badge is standing in for.
What about cancellations and problems during the stay?
Each home's cancellation terms are shown before you pay, and during the stay you message or call us directly — the same people who checked you in, not a call center working from a script.
